A fatal mistake that most beginners make is not seeking qualified advice when it comes to kettlebell training. Many think that they’ve been weight training for a while and therefore will automatically know how to lift a kettlebell. A kettlebell is very different from a dumbbell and should be gripped differently. Gripping a kettlebel like the same way you do with a dumbbell will only place undue stress on your wrists.
There are alot of information on kettlebell training on Youtube but you need to be very careful as most of it is nonsense.
Our classes are suitable for all ages of both genders, regardless of your training experience with kettlebells. Whether you are an absolute beginner or intermediate lifter, you will take home with you valuable advice that will help you in your training. Safe technique is crucial to prevent injuries.

Swings (both two-handed and one-handed): Swings are the foundation of kettlebell training and you need to master it before even thinking of moving on to cleans and snatches. Learn how to use your legs instead of your back (like many people do) to drive the bell up. A kettlebell is not a dumbbell and should not be gripped like one, learn how to properly grip a kettlebell for more effective training.
One-arm Cleans: Stop banging up your wrists by learning how to do cleans properly. Learn how to let your hand wrap around the kettlebell instead of it flipping over and banging the wrist/forearms. Learn about the proper rack position, without it, you can forget about improving your press or jerk.
Press/Push Press/Jerk: Discover the proper progression of learning the jerk. Learn about proper fixation and stable lockouts for healthy and injury-free shoulders. Most people have poor lockouts resulting in shoulder injuries in the long run. Learn how to do longer sets by more efficient and energy saving technique.
Half-snatch/ Full snatch: Likewise with the cleans, you shouldn’t be banging up your wrists when the snatch is executed properly. A lot of people tear their hands when doing snatches, this is a sign of bad technique. With good technique, you wouldn’t tear your hands even when performing high repetitions, allowing you to train more frequently.
Long Cycle Clean and Jerk: Known as the king of kettlebell training, the long cycle clean and jerk provides the most bang for the buck for full body training. Learn how to execute it efficiently to get the most out of your training.
Basic Juggling: Learn to improve hand eye coordination with basic juggling techniques. Fun exercise and adds variety to your workout!
